The Ontario Junior Hockey League unveiled a new brand identity on August 8, 2026, launching what the league describes as a new era built around a renewed player-first vision.
At the centre of the announcement is The OJHL Standard, a league-wide philosophy that sets shared expectations for players, coaches, staff and organizations across all twenty-four member teams. It rests on six guiding commitments covering culture, accountability, community and preparing players for the next level.
Commissioner Marty Savoy called the rebrand “the starting line of a bold new era for the OJHL,” and pointed to a year of strategic planning behind it. The league says the work extends well past the logo, into standardized operating procedures, future minimum standards, and improved communications and digital platforms.
The OJHL also announced a Team Leadership Group that will bring captains from around the league together with the league office on a regular basis. Their input will help shape the league’s Player Journey Map and the standards that govern the day-to-day player experience.
The new identity was developed with design firm Hambly & Woolley and begins rolling out immediately across league and team platforms, including broadcasts, events, merchandise and marketing materials, through the 2026-27 season.
The Canucks will carry the new league identity into their first home game of the season on Friday, September 4 against the Caledon Admirals.
